// B2B Leads Spain · 2026 Edition

Spain publishes an official company gazette every working day — and Apollo does not read it.

The BORME — Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil — is a daily PDF published by the Registro Mercantil Central. It announces every incorporation, board change, capital movement and dissolution in Spain before any private database touches it. It is the single most efficient buying-signal source in the country.

Around it sits the rest of the Spanish primary-source stack: 3.4 million active companies in the Registro Mercantil, roughly 150 000 medianas (50–250 employees), and around 4 500 large companies. Their cuentas anuales are deposited at the provincial register, their CNAE-2009 codes are open, and their aviso legal is mandatory on every Spanish website under article 10 of the LSSI. AtlasForgeX reads the whole stack natively, in Spanish.

The four Spanish sources, in tile form

// Registro Mercantil

The Registro Mercantil Central plus the provincial counterparts (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Bilbao). AtlasForgeX extracts the legal name, CIF/NIF, legal form (S.L., S.A., S.L.U.), the registered domicilio social, share capital, and the named administrador. Update cadence is same-day on registered acts.

// BORME daily gazette

Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil — published every working day in PDF. AtlasForgeX parses the daily issue and merges new incorporations, board changes and capital moves into the underlying record before any aggregator sees them. A "newly incorporated S.L. in CNAE 6201 last week" query is trivial here and impossible in Apollo.

// Cuentas anuales depositadas

The yearly financial statements deposited at the provincial register. AtlasForgeX derives total assets, headcount where reported, and the size band (PYME / mediana / grande). Combinable with CNAE 2562 + total assets 5–20 M€ + Cataluña to surface mid-sized metal-machining shops without scraping LinkedIn.

// Spanish-language web

Live analysis of the company domain on aviso legal (mandatory under LSSI art. 10), empleo pages, direct phone numbers and function mailboxes. Parallel signals from Infojobs, Indeed.es, LinkedIn Jobs ES and Tecnoempleo. Analysis language: Spanish only.

LOPDGDD, LSSI and AEPD — the Spanish compliance triangle

// Three statutes, one workflow

Article 6.1.f RGPD (legitimate interest) is the lawful basis for B2B outreach. The LOPDGDD — Ley Orgánica 3/2018 — implements the GDPR domestically and authorises legitimate-interest processing of professional contact data when the outreach is function-relevant and an opt-out is honoured.

The AEPD (Spanish data protection agency) has published criteria endorsing B2B prospection at professional addresses on the legitimate-interest basis, provided the message is connected to the recipient's professional role.

The LSSI (Ley 34/2002) governs commercial electronic communications. Article 21 requires prior consent for unsolicited commercial email to consumers — for B2B email to professional addresses, a soft opt-in regime applies when the message is function-relevant and unsubscribe is provided. Role mailboxes (info@, comercial@, compras@) sit outside the personal-data definition entirely.

AtlasForgeX runs every step locally on the Windows endpoint. No personal data is transferred to a third country — the Schrems II question is structurally outside scope.

Where Spanish demand actually concentrates

CATALUÑA

Industrial belt around Barcelona, Sabadell, Terrassa, Tarragona petrochemical complex. CNAE 2562 (metal machining), 2229 (plastics), 2014 (organic chemistry). The deepest manufacturing tier in Spain — and the most under-mapped by US data vendors.

MADRID

Services, IT, consulting, finance, head-office concentration. CNAE 6201, 6202, 6312, 7022. Where the LinkedIn signal is loudest in Spain — but still incomplete on the founder layer of 50–200-employee firms.

VALENCIA

Logistics (port of Valencia, third in Europe by container throughput) plus historic textile cluster around Alcoy and Ontinyent. CNAE 4942, 5224, 1396, 1413. Spanish-only web presence dominates.

ANDALUCÍA

Agroalimentary processing, olive oil, tourism infrastructure, fresh-produce export. CNAE 1041, 1085, 4631, 5510. Family-held S.L. structures with negligible LinkedIn footprint and rich BORME activity.

PAÍS VASCO

Capital-goods manufacturing, Mondragón ecosystem, automotive supply. CNAE 2841, 2892, 2932. Cooperative legal forms add a layer that requires native register reading rather than generic analysis.

Frequently asked questions

What Spanish sources does AtlasForgeX read? +
Registro Mercantil Central + provincial registers, the BORME daily gazette, the cuentas anuales depositadas, CNAE-2009 codes, and live Spanish-language analysis of company sites (aviso legal mandatory under LSSI art. 10). Hiring signals from Infojobs, Indeed.es, LinkedIn Jobs ES, Tecnoempleo.
What is the BORME and why is it the lead source? +
The Boletín Oficial del Registro Mercantil is the daily PDF gazette published by the Registro Mercantil Central. It publishes incorporations, board changes, capital movements and dissolutions before any private database touches them. AtlasForgeX parses every issue daily.
Is it RGPD / LOPDGDD-compliant? +
Yes. Article 6.1.f RGPD (legitimate interest) read with the LOPDGDD (Ley Orgánica 3/2018) and AEPD guidance. LSSI art. 21 governs commercial email: prior consent is for B2C, B2B has soft opt-in at professional addresses with mandatory unsubscribe. Role mailboxes are not personal data. AtlasForgeX runs locally on Windows.
Why does Apollo miss Spanish medianas? +
Apollo is LinkedIn-first and English-language-first. A typical gerente of a 70-person S.L. in Cataluña industry, or a director of a Valencia logistics operator, often runs no English LinkedIn presence — but appears in the Registro Mercantil, in a BORME notice, and on a Spanish-language site with aviso legal. AtlasForgeX reads those.
Can I segment by CNAE and Comunidad? +
Yes. CNAE-2009 native filter: 2562 (metal machining), 4631 (food wholesale), 6201 (programming), 4942 (logistics), 1396 (textile finishing). Combinable with Madrid, Cataluña, Valencia, Andalucía, País Vasco, legal form (S.L., S.A., S.L.U.) and size band from cuentas anuales.
Does it cover Portugal and Latin America? +
Portuguese is a sibling search language — Portugal via Portal da Empresa and Registo Comercial. Spanish-speaking Latin America (RPC Mexico, RUES Colombia, Registro Chile, IGJ Argentina) is reachable on the same install with regional Spanish grammar variations handled in the engine.
Pricing and install? +
Free one-day trial, no card. Windows install in around two minutes. Subscription afterwards has no minimum term. A Spain prospecting cycle (CNAE → Registro Mercantil → BORME merge → web → email → CSV) runs in 30 s to 3 min per segment-region combination.

Spanish medianas & grandes · LOPDGDD-compliant · Local processing

AtlasForgeX combines BORME, Registro Mercantil, cuentas anuales and Spanish-language analysis into a prospecting source no US-built stack can reproduce. Windows install, no cloud, no card for the trial.
