🇪🇨 Ecuador Business Data Research

In Ecuador, company facts are split between the Superintendencia de Compañías (SCVS) corporate directory and the SRI RUC taxpayer registry — both Spanish-language and rarely mirrored cleanly into global lead tools. AtlasForgeX reads these official sources directly, then layers live buying signals on top. This page is a live view of that coverage for Ecuador, updated automatically.

Company data in Ecuador: registers & coverage

Ecuador runs a two-track system. Incorporated companies (compañías anónimas and limitadas) are supervised by the Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros, whose Directorio de Compañías lets you look up a firm by name or RUC. Tax identity sits with the SRI, which issues the RUC — a 13-digit number where the first two digits encode the province of registration and a company RUC ends in 001. Reading both is the only way to see who is genuinely active versus dissolved or merely name-reserved.

Activity concentrates in Guayaquil and Quito and tilts toward commerce, food and agro-export (bananas, shrimp, cacao, flowers), construction and a growing services and fintech layer. Most of these are small, owner-run firms that trade in Spanish and never publish English-language profiles. That is exactly why aggregators like Apollo and ZoomInfo thin out here: their coverage skews to companies with international web presence, so a newly incorporated Guayaquil distributor or a Cuenca exporter can be fully registered with the SCVS yet entirely absent from a bought list. AtlasForgeX closes that gap by pulling from the local registries first.
