The legal source of truth in Bulgaria is the Commercial Register and Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities, maintained by the Registry Agency (Агенция по вписванията) and searchable by anyone at portal.registryagency.bg. On registration every entity, an EOOD, OOD, AD or sole trader, receives a permanent nine-digit EIK (Единен идентификационен код), the code that merged the former court, tax and statistics numbers into a single key. Filings are made and published in Bulgarian.
