🇸🇰 Slovakia Business Data Research

Slovakia splits its company data between the court-run Obchodný register (Business Register) for companies and the živnostenský register for sole traders, with an eight-digit IČO tying the records together. AtlasForgeX re-verifies these official sources and watches the public signals around each Slovak company.

Company data in Slovakia: registers & coverage

Slovakia's authoritative company record is the Obchodný register, administered by the Ministry of Justice through the country's registry courts and searchable online at orsr.sk. Limited companies (s.r.o.) and joint-stock companies (a.s.) are listed there, while the large population of sole traders and tradespeople sits in the separate živnostenský register; both are keyed to an eight-digit identification number, the IČO. Financial statements are published through the state Register of Financial Statements (registeruz.sk). Economically the country is heavily industrial — Slovakia is among the world's largest per-capita car producers, and automotive plants and their supplier networks around Bratislava, Trnava, Žilina and Nitra anchor much of the corporate base, alongside electronics, engineering and shared-service centres.

Aggregator databases handle the big manufacturers and their tier-one suppliers, but they thin out fast below that. Most Slovak entities are small s.r.o.s and živnostníci operating in Slovak, with limited English-language web presence, so they are slow to appear in Apollo or ZoomInfo. They show up in the Obchodný register or trade register from day one — which is why reading the official sources directly reveals far more of the market than any pre-built list.
